Important News & Upcoming Events

Wee Ones public Facebook page – Our Facebook page is a great way to see photos and see public updates, such as fundraising opportunities. A private parent group is available to current families, by invitation only.

Remind App – This tool is great for getting text messages with important information from Miss Carrie. Please contact the preschool if you need access.

Conferences & Evaluations – Each child will be evaluated throughout the year to assess age-appropriate skills and development. Conferences are offered once a year, but feel free to reach out to our teachers if you have any questions and/or concerns regarding your child’s development.

Monthly Board Meetings – Parents are always welcome to sit-in on monthly board meetings. Dates and times are posted under “Important News” (below). If you are interested in volunteering to be a member of our board of directors, please visit the “About/Board Members” tab for further information.

Open Houses and Parent Orientation – Transitioning into preschool is a big step for most kids, and most parents, too! To help with all the new changes, Wee Ones offers many ways for you to become familiar with our classroom and teachers. Before the start of the school year, open houses will be offered so families can explore the classroom! A Parent Orientation is conducted each year as well to go over policies, procedures, curriculum, and to get a peek into what your child’s day will be like at Wee Ones.

Classroom Visits and Volunteer Opportunities* – We welcome and encourage parents and caregivers to visit our classroom! Visitor sign-in sheets are inside the classroom door, and a visitor tag must be worn at all times. If you wish to regularly volunteer your time at Wee Ones, a background check will be required. Please contact the preschool for volunteer opportunities.

*While parents/visitors are always welcome in the preschool, we ask that you hold off doing so for the first two weeks of school. This will give us the best opportunity to show the children that they are in a safe environment, and for us to successfully help them transition away from their grown-ups for a short period of time.

Also to ensure safety, our classroom door is always locked from the outside. There is a doorbell located on the door for any visitors to be checked in before entering our room.
