We Believe Children Learn Through Play
It has been our goal for 33 years to teach children through hands-on play. We have found children are more comfortable when guided to learn in an atmosphere that engages their senses.
We have incorporated into our curriculum various learning tools such as music, literature, art, dramatic play and cooking. We focus heavily on phonics, eye-hand coordination, early letter recognition, math skills, numbers, science, social studies, creative expression and positive self-esteem. By doing this we are giving your child the fundamentals and foundation needed to succeed in their education.
We spend one-on-one time with each child to help develop small motor skills and allow them to learn independently, as well as have them participate in group activities to help develop their social skills and to learn to work as a team. Children are challenged with physical activities such as scooters, hula hoops and balance activities to help develop their large motor skills. This wide range of diverse skills meets the needs of all children and the staff at Wee Ones is conscious to adjust to the various age levels to ensure the possibilities for your child’s growth and education are endless!
